Conservation Tools

Is your system running in tip top shape or are you experiencing problems?
Don’t know where to turn because your system can’t afford the cost to have necessary testing done to optimize productivity and save on energy costs?

Louisiana Rural Water Association (LRWA) and Lewisburg-Bellevue Water System (LBWS) would like to remind you of our Rural Water Energy Conservation Program: LRWA offers specialized training and technical assistance to small water and/or wastewater systems with six field technicians in the state of Louisiana. The program is designed to reduce energy consumption and increase the efficiency of operation with emphasis on the following:

  • Leak Detection
  • Bench Testing for Customer’s Water Meters
  • Infiltration (Smoke Test) Survey
  • Sewer Video Camera Survey

These cost saving services are performed at no charge to the system. This program is sponsored by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and implemented by the Louisiana Rural Water Association. As a requirement to participate in this program we ask that the system make every effort to repair any problems detected, this is however done at the expense of the utility system or the individual(s) property, if applicable.
